Fluidauto Becomes Primary Brand as Flipacar Transitions into the Group
15th July 2026 — Fluidauto today announced that it will move forward as the primary brand for its suite of automotive software solutions, with Flipacar gradually being integrated into the Fluidauto identity.
Flipacar, which began as a wholesale dealer-to-dealer marketplace, has been central to the company’s journey. It pioneered the digital remarketing of rental, fleet, and lease vehicles across Australia and quickly built a strong network of active buyers and suppliers. Over time, the platform proved the strength of its technology, laying the foundation for a much broader vision.
Fluidauto has since expanded beyond dealer-to-dealer trading to provide end-to-end digital solutions for the automotive industry. The company now delivers modular, white-labelled platforms for OEMs, rental and fleet operators, finance companies, and auction groups, along with advanced inspection apps, AI-driven pricing insights, and simulcast auction technology.
“Flipacar was the start of our journey, but the scope of what we deliver today has outgrown a single marketplace brand,” said Chris Eade, Executive Director of Fluidauto. “Fluidauto reflects the breadth of our technology and our global ambitions, while Flipacar remains an important part of our history and ecosystem.”
The transition means that Fluidauto will now be the main company identity across platforms, with Flipacar being progressively retired as a standalone brand. Existing Flipacar technology and customers will continue to be supported, and the marketplace remains a core capability within the Fluidauto offering.
This change ensures a unified brand presence as Fluidauto scales internationally and continues to provide cutting-edge digital solutions for automotive remarketing, fleet disposal, and dealer networks.
